Located 700 m from the Rialto Bridge, B&B Al Palazzetto occupies a late‑17th‑century Venetian building. Elegant rooms feature historic wall décor, wooden furniture, glass chandeliers, LCD satellite TV, private bathrooms with hairdryers and toiletries, and complimentary Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy a simple Italian breakfast of hot coffee and croissants in a shared dining room. It is a 15‑minute walk to St Mark’s Square and the train station.

The location was great, close to everything. I chose this place because it was supposed to be between B&Bs, but the breakfast was minimal and served at a bar instead of on site. The reviews about the host were very positive, yet we only met him when we were leaving, which was a pity.

The room was spacious with a walk‑in closet and a large, well‑equipped bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and varied, offering a good selection of sweet and savory items. The superb location—easy to reach yet in a quiet area—made it a solid base for exploring Venice. I can’t think of anything that bothered me or caused any inconvenience.
