“Beautiful property in a stunning location.”

We stayed at Gîte du Manor De Berville and chose it for its rural setting and easy reach to nearby towns and villages; the house itself is beautifully restored and tastefully decorated. Our bedroom was very spacious and extremely comfortable, and it was very peaceful at night. The indoor and outdoor facilities are excellent, with a well‑stocked kitchen and comfortable common dining and sitting areas. The outdoor spaces are equally stunning, featuring a jacuzzi and a swimming pool overlooking the beautiful countryside. The parking area is large and very secure. Paolo, the host, was extremely friendly and always in touch with helpful suggestions for places to visit, restaurants, etc. We opted for breakfast and Paolo was very accommodating to our choices, and the kitchen area also made for very convivial morning chats with our charming fellow guests. I highly recommend this property for a peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings yet with easy access to the various sights of Normandy and a slightly less than 2‑hour trip time to Cherbourg when we had to leave for home.

“A very pleasant French holiday home with great pool and garden areas. Good location.”

Manoir de Berville is a farmhouse set in pleasant grounds with an exceptional pool area and hot tub. Paolo, the host, was charming and gave my family a lovely welcome, and we also received a nice welcome basket. Our grandchildren are 4 and 6 years old, so I was a little nervous about the pool area and stairs, but we made sure they were equipped with arm bands and floaters before starting the holiday.

“Exceptional French Gite set it beautifully”

The Gite is a beautiful traditional Normandie farmhouse that has been superbly and sensitively modernised. The bedrooms were spacious and well equipped. The pool is superb, and the separate jacuzzi overlooking the beautiful rolling hills of the Normandie countryside is a bonus. Stunning! Our host was attentive and incredibly hospitable, and we couldn’t have asked for more.

We had an excellent stay at this gîte. The house is very pleasant, clean, spacious, and perfectly equipped. The pool and outdoor spaces were a real plus, and we really enjoyed the family moments there. The owner was very welcoming, available, and responsive before and during the stay. We leave with very good memories and recommend this gîte without hesitation. Thank you again for your hospitality!
