The shared spaces—kitchen, terrace and dining area—were big and spotless, and the bathroom was surprisingly roomy. We even got lockers to stash our bags during the day, which was handy. The only hassle was the series of code locks on each door; it made getting in and out a bit of a chore, though it did feel secure.
