The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent, and the view from the room was lovely.

This youth hostel is tidy, within walking distance of the city centre, and each room comes with its own shower; there's also a shared kitchen and plenty of parking. However, lockers are not available for use for reasons unknown, the kitchen is cluttered and the fridge contains expired food likely left by previous guests, and the Wi‑Fi—typical of French YHA sites—is sluggish, unreliable, and keeps prompting for new logins.

The staff were kind and the on‑site parking for cars and motorcycles is free. The building feels old and poorly maintained; the water conservation is fine, but the shower water keeps shutting off every two seconds, forcing guests to press the button repeatedly and wash with one hand. There are no power outlets near the bed.
