The positive point is the location. The entrance already has a strong sewage smell, the bathroom is the most disappointing part because the drain is clogged (I mentioned this to the host at check‑in), and the shower only lets water out of a few holes, so it’s disgusting—this is the minimum that needs to be fixed, especially since it’s a shared bathroom. The building needs a major renovation, cracks are everywhere. I recommend not leaving your items in the kitchen because when we arrived the host had already mentioned that a Coke had disappeared from the fridge, and the next day we found our Coke open inside the fridge. Aside from all that, it was an okay experience but ONLY because of the great location.

The apartment was clean. The stay was very disappointing. We never got a name or proper contact – only rude WhatsApp messages demanding tourist tax payment via an external link, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. Phone calls were refused (“only for messages”). Access is through a dark, dirty courtyard with trash and a half‑rotten handwritten sign. Inside: a cluttered mix of nice antique furniture and broken 80s furniture, “Do not touch” notes everywhere, questionable decoration, windows that don’t close, constant noise from the canal and restaurant. The stove was broken. After checkout, luggage storage was denied – again with a rude message even though hand‑written signs indicated where to leave it. The overall handling showed no care for guests. It was a long 40‑minute walk from the center. Not worth the price.

The location. The place needs maintenance. We didn’t dare sit in the chair in room 1 – it collapsed.
We loved the location and the peace it offered, and the window view was fantastic! When we arrived, the corridor that leads to the rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen was very hot. The room had air conditioning, but it couldn't handle four people. The bed had a spring that caught on the leg.
