Solo Sokos Hotel Torni Helsinki

Very tasty food at the OR restaurant and good service; big thanks to the young fellow who brought a candle to our table! The room is actually a junior suite, not a full suite. Street noise was noticeable. Room service was unhelpful when I ordered an evening snack: “okay, I take the order but it is gonna take some time. I’ll see if I can find someone to deliver.” That was not my problem. If you have room service, use it; if not, remove it. Only one pair of slippers was provided, which I noticed in the morning. I asked for warm milk with my coffee, but it was cold. Reception was very friendly when we arrived, but not as friendly when we checked out.

The vibe and rich history of the hotel were fantastic, and its spot right in the heart of Helsinki city centre made everything super convenient. The room itself was comfy, spotless, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here again if I ever come back to Helsinki.

I appreciated the flexibility and genuine eagerness to help at check‑in, the lovely Joutsenen pillows and blankets, the stunning room, complimentary soft drinks, good blackout curtains, and the table service during breakfast.
