We were helped out of the houseboat at night, which was a relief, but everything else was a nightmare. When we got there nothing was ready – no heating, no lights, no one to greet us and no way to reach anyone. The brief hand‑over we did get was cut off and we had to leave an hour later because the power and heating died, the room was 9 °C, the water smelled like a bad brew and was unusable, and the so‑called sauna only topped out at 35 °C, which is not a sauna at all.
