“Memorable”
The hosts were wonderful, the town was charming, and they pointed me to a fantastic local sushi spot that was a real highlight. It was off the beaten path, which is why I chose it.

The host was incredibly kind, giving me peace of mind throughout my stay. I ended up not doing the BBQ because of the heat and the mosquitoes, but I appreciated the preparation they had done; I felt bad not using it. During the room tour, another host entered through a different door, and my child asked, “Will that person sleep with us today?” The homely vibe is nice, but clearer boundaries between host entries and private space would make guests feel even safer.

The traditional house was run by a lovely lady who welcomed us at check‑in. We stayed only one night, yet the house felt very spacious and was nicely located in Hiketa. The setting of the house is very cute.

The house is beautiful and run by extremely friendly people. It’s a typical Japanese house equipped with everything needed for short or long stays. It’s situated in a village halfway between two big cities.

The kids were free to roam around. The owner was a very good person. The old‑time atmosphere gave a nostalgic feel. The surrounding roads are narrow, so I thought driving would require caution.
