“Schöner Ort, tolle Tauchgänge, schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis”
We enjoyed our time at Pulisan Resort and had lovely dives :) Anna, the host, was very friendly and we really enjoyed the dinners with other guests. We had a great time :) The diving at Pulisan Resort was unfortunately far too expensive for what was offered. One dive cost €48, the gear €35 a day – advertised at €25, but the fine print added the dive computer. More transparency would help. For comparison, in Lembeh we paid only $16 a day for full gear and $45 per dive – with top service, a dive center, and equipment. At Pulisan, my friend didn’t even get a suitable wetsuit, and one of the dive computers we paid an extra €10 for didn’t work properly… Diving can have a price (even in Indonesia), but the value should match – and it didn’t here.
Right on the beach, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the dive spots were good. The water temperature in the pool couldn’t be adjusted, so it could feel a bit chilly.
Super resort with a small private beach section. The atmosphere feels family‑like, rooms are clean, and the staff are very friendly. The resort can arrange transfers to and from the airport as well as trips to the national park, and they even offer laundry service with pleasantly scented detergent. The dive centre on site is well equipped and the crew is very competent; we did seven great dives with the Pulisan Resort! The dive boat is fantastic, almost brand new, spacious, and even has a toilet on board. We’ll definitely come back.
“Heerlijke plek, lekker remote, heerlijk eten en super aardig personeel.”
The place is very beautiful and quite secluded. The budget cabin is basic but functional. The problem is the neighbors are right next to you and you can literally hear their conversations. I wouldn’t recommend this type of cabin, everything else is perfect.
“We were sad to leave , Anna and Lee (the owners) have built a very special place ……..I’ll be back !”
The place is family‑owned, sits in a superb spot, and the staff are kind and friendly; the food is fresh and tasty, the traditional wooden rooms are beautifully built, airport transfers are punctual and safe, and the edge of the jungle offers fantastic Wi‑Fi – everything was loved.
