The staff were polite, helpful, and friendly, and the location is beautiful, but the room felt like an oven, the fixtures were all a little rickety, the bed was two singles pushed together and uneven in height, and I think the marketing took artistic license to the max because a hotel and spa with just one steam room and a Roman bath doesn’t really qualify as a spa.

The view was amazing, the staff were exceptionally amazing, the room was cozy, and I just loved absolutely everything about the place.

The hotel seems to be undergoing a refurbishment, the bed was comfortable, and the view was good.

It’s close to town and the welcome was kind and courteous, but the bed springs were surprising, there were no bedside lamps (the room lamps flickered on and off randomly), the shelf over the bathroom sink was missing (supports were there), the hook on the bathroom door was missing (screw holes were there), and everything felt tired after a busy season and getting ready to close for winter.
