The staff were friendly and helpful, giving solid tips for our trip to Venice, the breakfast was generous and the evening restaurant was good, making it a solid base for day trips to Venice and Padua, and the train station is close, though the surrounding area isn’t very appealing.

The staff were lovely and the location is good, yet the Superior room was not a Superior room at all—tiny, with a minuscule bathroom, no working air conditioning, sealed windows that made the room unbearably hot, and despite telling staff nothing changed; the hotel needs updating, the wooden floor has lost its finish and is grimy, and after a previous stay I’m very disappointed by the deterioration. During weekend evenings, non‑resident guests crowd the restaurant and the single‑track access road with no passing places makes it impossible to get in and out by car.

The room was private, quiet, spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very kind. The only downside was the gravel road to get there.
