Thank you for a lovely stay. Nicole was very friendly and helpful, and the location near the train station is ideal for visiting nearby cities by train.
The bed was wonderful and everything was there. It was a bit noisy, and while the in‑room breakfast was fine, the space was too small to eat it there.
I stayed over the weekend of the Dutch Grand Prix 2026, and it was perfect. The train at the end of the street takes 20 minutes to the track. The room was nice, the bed was excellent 👍, the facilities were good, and the hostess was lovely. And of course Liv was amazingly nice and well‑mannered, almost keeping me longer 😊; she’s a good dog.

The place was clean, breakfast was nice, but only two eggs for two people, so the portion could be larger, and I liked the coffee. Unfortunately, the accommodation was not very comfortable mainly because of the owner’s communication. From the start, the house rules made us feel stressed; we were told there should be no noise after 23:00, which we respected, but we were also warned that doors, floors, and stairs make noise, and even the floor itself was said to be noisy, so we felt we had to be afraid of walking around after 23:00. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere and did not feel relaxing. I also expected basic amenities like an iron, but the owner said there was none. Overall, I would not recommend this place to guests who expect to feel comfortable and move freely after 23:00; the strict noise policy and its delivery made us uneasy throughout the stay.

The bedroom was quiet and the bed was great, and there were plenty of outlets. The owner is a lovely woman, and breakfast was excellently arranged 😊. The location in Hillegom is very central for Haarlem, IJmuiden, Amsterdam, Hoofddorp, etc. The property sits on a bike lane, so parking can be a bit tricky.
