The view of the port and especially the Black Sea was great, and the old‑school, 80s vibe added character. My room was under the roof, and at 1.90m I had to bend to take a shower. There was no light switch near the bed, the front door locked well but was warped, so we could hear everything happening in the hallway.

Access to the city center was convenient, and the staff were hospitable. The hotel’s atmosphere felt like a wedding photo shoot, with several couples posing. The shower room seemed a bit dated, and the room itself wasn’t very spacious—though that might depend on the plan.

I appreciated the reception staff’s kindness and helpfulness. The room was quite small, and the air‑conditioning compressors were right outside the windows; their noise at night was fairly disruptive.

The price was excellent value, the staff were friendly, breakfast was nice, and the rooms were cozy. The only drawback was the bathroom ceiling: because the room sat on the top floor just under the roof, the ceiling was very low in some spots, but otherwise there was nothing to complain about.

The apartment’s location is near the Maydan, and close to a few famous spots in Trabzon; the room was nice and comfortable for me as a solo traveller.
