Check‑in was contactless with a key safe; the house and rooms are old, maybe described as Eastern‑block charm, yet my ground‑floor room was immaculately clean and newly renovated, except for the very old shower and basin. I was lucky that it was still pleasantly warm (the balcony door was open for sleeping) and almost no other guests were around; there were enough parking spots. The room isn’t worth the €70 price, but the great location right in the lake area justifies it. A dog would have cost €10, or €20 for the superior rooms, and the €2.70 local tax had to be paid in cash and left in the room – that’s annoying.
