The Steigenberger Airport Hotel Frankfurt features a 570m² upper-floor spa area with pool, free WiFi, and a 2-way shuttle to/from Frankfurt Airport every 20 minutes. Spacious, soundproofed rooms have flat-screen TVs, minibars, and complimentary bottled water. The hotel offers three restaurants, a fitness centre, and sauna, and is nestled next to Frankfurt's city forest, 12 minutes from the city centre.

The only downside to this otherwise great hotel is that the planes can be a bit noisy flying overhead, but it’s not a big deal. We saw other nearby hotels that aren’t as nice but are quieter. There are just a couple of dining spots; both are good but pricey.

The hotel is very convenient for layovers, with a free shuttle every 20 minutes to and from the airport and a travel time of 9–15 minutes. The large, clean two‑room suite was great, the breakfast was excellent, and they offered to mail a forgotten sweater. I stopped by during my return layover to pick it up, and the staff were very helpful—thanks to everyone.

The hotel was nice with a restaurant that served good food and had friendly staff, but the room stayed very warm even with the air conditioning set to its lowest; the food was good but pricey.

The breakfast was excellent, but the room was old, the staff were somewhat unfriendly, and we were suddenly moved to a lower category for 2 adults and 2 children.
