It’s a lovely, quiet place and all the facilities you need are there, though it doesn’t match the picture and the green areas are dry because of the drought. The carriage feels flat and lacks character; it’s just a long motel room and I expected more train‑themed décor. We’ve stayed in the station master’s quarters before and that was fantastic, so this felt a bit underwhelming.

It takes me back to my past; the gardens are beautiful, quiet, and very comfortable, but there were too many mosquitoes and I forgot the aeroguard.

We had breakfast in town, but a cleaner bathroom would have been nice.

The location is peaceful, but the unit needed a lot of maintenance: the ceiling had cracks, the veranda’s floor and handrail needed repairs, and some of the free items were outdated.

The Flyer had a pleasant vibe and we really enjoyed our time there, but the lack of hot water for showers was a real inconvenience. On top of that, trying to get the TV to connect to the internet was a hassle that took longer than it should have. Overall, the good moments were dampened by those basic service hiccups.
