A small wooden cabin in the middle of rice fields. Don’t expect comfort, but a total change of scenery, calm, a landscape you blend into. The place is quite hard to find. Bring your own food for the evening, although a lady five minutes on foot in the middle of the rice fields can cook for you at her shop‑grocery‑restaurant.

The experience felt authentic and the host was very kind, but we missed some activities; a short rice‑culture intro or a guide in the house would have been nice.

It was a genuinely authentic adventure and a highlight of our trip; the rooms were very basic yet clean and cozy, the views were stunning, and the hosts were wonderful, offering a traditional breakfast and even preparing an extra dinner for a small fee when we arrived late. This will definitely stand out during our two‑month stay in Thailand, and I’d recommend it to anyone craving real authenticity ❤️

There was no hot water for showers, so using a gas heater would have helped; the price was high, nothing was provided, and there was no coffee to drink.
