“Déçu dans l’ensemble. Je ne recommande pas.”

The location was pleasant, quiet and close to Angoulême. The overall cleanliness left something to be desired. Breakfast was standard and not as exceptional as the reviews suggest. The owner was absent for a bed‑and‑breakfast, giving the impression of a hotel.

The room and bathroom were roomy. The place was very peaceful, even the rooster respected our sleep by only crowing at 9. The pool was very pleasant after a hot day, and the breakfast was hearty.
