The room was fine, the bed was comfortable. I spoke briefly with someone working there. She talked about thefts that happened at the hostel, men jumping into girls’ beds. Nothing bad happened to me, but hearing what goes on makes me think it’s better to avoid this place. The employee’s explanation that it’s cheap because of this is absurd. It can be cheap without luxuries, but it should be safe.
The location is fine. The organization is poor.
The place is located well. It was dirty, people tried to enter our room through the window. They opened the rooms and we lost things. There was a damp smell throughout the apartment and the showers and bathrooms were super dirty. NOT RECOMMENDABLE.
Nothing good. Everything bad.
“Nawet spoko, opinie które tu są mocno przesadzone. Sporo awarii, ale host przyjazny, łóżka czyste”
On the plus side, the sheets were clean, the beds comfortable, and the host was friendly, though not 24/7. Warm water is available, the kitchen exists and is decent; you need to have your own lock, which might be a good idea to ensure no one has a spare key. The receptionist is very communicative and nice, probably why guests say he’s their friend. The atmosphere is alpine; I managed to meet and spend a few nice days with good people on site. The shower is just a shower, there’s a small shampoo container and hooks. The low price is an advantage but also a disadvantage because guests seem to think they can leave messes; one lady checked in at two in the morning, even though it was stated to give the arrival time, showing too much leniency towards some guests; if fines were collected for cutting things, it might be better. The drawbacks include lack of an electric kettle and Wi‑Fi. In mid‑September they were still not heating, so it was quite cold and hard to keep things warm. It’s best to ask in advance for room access info or give your arrival time.
