The hosts Bruce and Samantha, along with their family, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, doing everything possible for us; the spot itself is great, the food tasty, but it’s really the people that make it special, so I’d definitely recommend staying here.

A cozy place with friendly hosts for a one‑night stay; the location is convenient (the map is wrong— they’re near the Museum, the pin points to the Community that runs tours); the breakfast was good, and they even made dinner for our late arrival; the price‑quality ratio is perfect for a modest clean room; nearby you’ll find a souvenir shop and a currency exchange.

I loved my two days with Samantha and Bruce, who run the place; the room is pretty, quite large, and very clean, with good bedding and hot water; Wi‑Fi works in the common areas because reception in rooms is weak; waking up surrounded by birds in the garden is a delight; Kibale Park is a six‑minute drive; overall value for money is excellent, and Bruce is very responsive on WhatsApp.

The owners were friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner were well prepared, the rooms were simple but tidy and clean, the lawn in the garden was nice for the kids to play on, the dining area was cozy, Wi‑Fi was available, the shower was fine, and the price‑quality ratio was good.
