Good position, also close to streets with lots of restaurants. Room kind of small for 3 people, but still ok. Extremely varied breakfast. Swimming pool not exactly appealing, ad you have to cross the dining hall to reach it, but you do not go to Yogyakarta for the pool, so

Nothing really stood out for me except a fairly varied breakfast, while the pool was tiny and closed at 18:00, the restaurant had an absurdly long wait with only us there, and the dish we ordered arrived cold after more than 40 minutes; the room smelled of something odd, and a megaphone outside the door blared a prayer at 4 am at full volume, which felt intrusive.

The breakfast buffet is one of the most complete I’ve ever seen, and the staff are very friendly. It was summer, yet the bedding felt like a heavy winter duvet; a single sheet would have helped me sleep better. The dining room’s air conditioning is too strong in some spots.

The staff are very kind and helpful, the bed is comfortable, and the location is central. The breakfast offers a lot of variety but is mainly Asian—vegetables, soups, fried foods, noodles, etc.—with almost nothing for a continental breakfast and few sweet options. The 4:30 am wake‑up call is due to the mosque.
