I booked a private room in an apartment, trusting the rating and photos, but the reality was a nightmare. The place was filthy – hair everywhere, yellow‑stained walls, a bathroom that smelled like a sink that hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and no hot water at all. Breakfast was served on a dirty table, and the last day they just tossed us a whole apple. I had to stay because I’d already paid in advance and couldn’t find another place on short notice.

The hosts, Robert and Linda, were incredibly helpful and attentive, making the stay feel like a home away from home. The location is spot on – just outside the city centre, with shops, a mall and a big market all within a 10‑minute walk, and public transport is cheap. The house is secure, super comfortable, and quiet, especially from the traffic. All my expectations were met, no complaints at all.
