I was impressed by the historical charm and the stunning view; the property looks gorgeous and is well maintained, so I’ll definitely return. The only downside was the lack of a dressing table, which made styling my hair a bit difficult.

We had a very large room with a balcony, direct sea view, and whale sightings from the room/balcony. The house’s uniqueness has been described many times, and it truly lives up to that. It sits on a golf course and is very quiet, offering immediate hikes in the “Urwald.” There’s no direct beach access, but the pool with loungers is lovely. The only complaint was that the fruit for breakfast was limited to apples, so as an allergist I had to skip fruit entirely.

I appreciated the building’s history and its faithful restoration to the original style, plus the great location that gives easy access to local hikes and the beach. The rooms could use some rugs and a few more pictures to cut down on the echo and the slightly austere vibe. On the second night, a staff member was cooking for friends, and the B&B and rooms smelled of fried food, which was unpleasant. This is a B&B for paying guests, and staff should prioritize guest comfort.

The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, always aiming for perfection. Their warmth made me feel at home. The dinner menu was prepared with love, and I’ve never tasted such a mutton curry before; thank you for making my birthday exactly what I wanted—extra special. There were no other issues.
