The rooms were good and spacious with modern design, the balcony offered a view of the pool and sea, and the room service (FINA) was very friendly. The pool area was very large and we always found a spot. The cocktails at the bar were tasty and not too expensive. The breakfast and evening buffets had a very large selection. Check‑in and check‑out were quick, and the staff spoke several languages (German, English, Spanish). We had to pay €8 for the in‑room safe with a €10 deposit, something I’ve never seen in another hotel. The elevators were very small and insufficient, so we often had to take the stairs (we were on the 5th floor). The buffet food was unfortunately not well labelled, so we didn’t always know what was on the plate; the service during meals was very fast with clearing, sometimes right after we finished the table and the dishes and cutlery were taken away. Asking for drinks at dinner was sometimes not done, once we left our drinks on the table to get more food, and when we returned after less than 5 minutes the next guests sat at our table and the staff simply cleared our drinks. Service in the dining area should be improved; the coffee was okay but sometimes tasted like hot chocolate even though I had a latte macchiato, the orange juice from the machine was more like water, so it would have been better to take the smoothie – a pity in a country that actually has a lot of oranges. The food was decent, with a lot of cheese over‑baked to fill you up faster.
