“Room from Hell”
The entrance glass was smashed and a drainpipe was hanging off the roof; no staff were at reception. The room was dirty, paper was coming off the walls, furniture was dated, and paintings above the bed made it hard to sit up. There was dried spit on the walls and possibly coffee. The bathroom was grimy, with small packets of hand gel. The room was on the first floor and there was a lot of noise inside and outside. We had booked underground parking, but were told we had to reserve it, which wasn’t stated on site. The town had many migrants, so I didn’t feel very safe when out. There was no tea or coffee facilities; all vending machines were empty, so we had to go to the supermarket for water. The hotel is 3 stars, which is surprising because it is definitely the worst one I’ve stayed in; I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. The Chinese restaurant next door isn’t very good; I would share photos but they’re on a different device.
