“Disappointing”
The old building looked beautiful and the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the place felt neglected: the gates didn’t work and we struggled with a padlock, there was no gas so we had to get a replacement, and the electric blankets were useless. The cafe next to our room was noisy from early morning, and given the rate we paid, I expected breakfast to be included.
