Breakfast came with toast and jam, plus coffee, juice, and a pot of onion soup, and the hotel had parking for about five to six cars. The TV was really tiny, and there was no elevator, so carrying large luggage was inconvenient.
The location was close to the shrine and Takachiho Gorge. The kitchen utensils felt a bit lacking.

The hotel was close to Takachiho Shrine and Takachiho Gorge, and if you have a car it served well as a base for exploring the area. The air‑conditioner’s outdoor units were stacked directly below the windows, and their operating noise was fairly loud.
“Ideal location”
The hotel offered traditional bedrooms that added a lovely charm to a trip in Takachiho. The breakfast was very simple but served quickly. The B&B sits just a short walk from the gorge. The futons were very soft and the equipment seemed a bit old for the price paid.
“單價不貴還有附早餐，很適合去高千穗簡單住一晚。但是冷氣真的挺熱的，因為西曬，老闆不會提前開好冷氣，到了才能自己開，過程中有點崩潰。最後是自己洗濾網才好一點，但也是夜晚才開始涼。”
It’s near Takachiho Shrine and a boat or car ride takes only about five minutes, making it a good spot for a short stay. The air conditioning was a bit hot because of the west-facing sun; I had to turn it on myself when I first entered, which was frustrating, and after cleaning the filter it improved slightly but it was still quite warm.
