“This was an extremely overpriced apartment and we didn't get what we paid for”

I booked this property because it had a pool. Never advised that the pool was under renovations. It was very disappointing to find out when we arrived we couldn't use it. The location was great. The pool was unavailable, the apartment we booked was supposed to have 2 double beds, but there was only one, so an adult had to sleep in a single bed. There wasn't enough flannels provided for all of us. No spare toilet paper or tissue box, we had to ask for more towels, there were ants that we had to keep fly spraying, no wardrobe when the apartment we booked said it had 1, we were told if it needed vacuuming we had to lug a huge vacuum up 2 flights of stairs to do it and the rubbish or recycling wasn't taken out every day. The bathroom blinds were disgustingly dirty and so were the skirting boards throughout the apartment. Shower also had mould.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and had everything you could possibly need, plus the location was perfect.

“Great location, clean and tidy and very friendly staff. It had everything we needed.”

The location was excellent, the rooms were tidy and clean, and the staff were friendly enough to let us check in late so we could shower after the marathon. The downside was that the pool and spa were closed, and the dishwasher didn’t work until we tried to use it at checkout.

The spot was great, the room had all the essentials, the staff were super helpful, and I’ll definitely book again.
