The spot was handy for catching a layover flight, and the owner was quick to help, arranging a reliable taxi network that took detours to dodge traffic jams on the road; thanks again to the driver’s dedication.

We adored the spot and Marouso’s hospitality; we craved downtime and wholesome meals, and that’s exactly what we received. Each morning I’d swim in the gorgeous Aegean Sea and repeat the ritual at dusk, and everything else felt pleasantly radiant. I’m reluctant to mention it, but I know my husband would have had trouble with the bed if he had a bad back.

The location was good.

The beachside hotel was amazing, offering free sunbeds and towels, a balcony with a great sea view, and a nice restaurant as an added perk, but the shower curtains were a real annoyance.

The location right on the sea was unbeatable, the restaurant was excellent and you could dine on the beach, the hosts were incredibly friendly and tried to fulfill every wish, free sunbeds were available—normally they cost 60,00 € a day— the beach was never crowded, and the other guests were mostly looking for peace; there was absolutely nothing to criticize.
