The view was outstanding, but the bathroom—especially the shower area—was not hygienic. The cleaner finished within 15 minutes.

Very clean and quiet, and the food was the best I've ever had, though the extra fees were high and not really the fault of the accommodation.

The hotel is on a small island; you need to take a boat and the promenade is very pretty. Then you walk 15 minutes through the middle of the cows, which is nice. There's a beautiful baobab right next to the lobby. Plus, you're surrounded by locals. The beach is just a few meters away. The atmosphere is peaceful. The huts are all wooden with a small terrace. The only downside is that the electricity level is very low in the rooms, the lighting is weak, you can't charge your phone except at the reception, and there's no hot water in the rooms. In any case, when we were there…

The spot is unbeatable, and the staff—especially Adam—were kind and attentive throughout.

The lodge is isolated, far from everything, which is exactly what I enjoy. I appreciate the eco‑friendly approach: no plastic, waterless toilets, and the like. The pick‑up from the airport (or elsewhere) is the main way to reach the property; it’s well organized, but a cheaper price would be nicer.
