It was a stunning holiday at Hotel Vela D'Oro. The whole staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was a dream. The hotel would have earned us a 5-star rating. We will definitely return. Thank you!

Excellent breakfast. I received a large room on the 4th floor even though I had booked a single room with a side sea view. It was very noisy – the ventilation from the neighboring hotel made it impossible to sleep because of an uncomfortable bed slatted frame and a thin mattress. The terrace was loud; reviews say the 4th floor is normally not rented. Probably because of the horrific noise from the ventilation. The next day I was not offered a replacement room because the hotel was full. It seems there was an overbooking. I left and was stuck with the cost of the second night.

Easily reachable. Good breakfast. The elevator was small. The bathroom was dated.
