The host greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. The apartment turned out to be surprisingly spacious, and having a private parking spot saved us a lot of hassle. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Everything was spot on, from the moment we checked in to the very last night. The room was immaculate, the staff were friendly, and there were no hiccups at all. I'd say it was a flawless stay.

If you’re traveling without a car, this spot is ideal – the train and bus stations are just a short walk away. Amar and Maliha were always quick to reply and made sure we had everything we needed, even stocking the fridge with a few basics. The kitchen had all the essential utensils, so we could cook without any trouble. The only snag was the directions on the listing; the GPS led us to the wrong building and we had to ask locals for help, which was a pain with all our luggage on the steep hill.

The location is superb, just minutes from the markets, main shopping streets, the biggest mall in Sarajevo and the old town. The host’s mother kept in touch and helped us a lot during our stay, and the first‑floor flat had everything: bedroom, sitting area, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining space, private parking, plus a lovely garden with a sitting area. We felt lucky to have found this place; it was more than we expected.

The night view from the balcony was just stunning, and the whole place felt clean, quiet and genuinely local. The owner and his parents were incredibly friendly – they even left us some snacks and stocked the fridge with groceries. It felt like a home away from home.
