The room was top renovated, the service excellent, coffee was free and the breakfast was very well balanced – definitely worth it! The address is superb for Gelsenkirchen and the surrounding area.

The room was beautiful and spacious, and the bed was great. The hotel sits right next to a bus and tram stop and is close to a shopping street with plenty of restaurants and eateries, so you can be at the Veltins Arena of Schalke 04 in under 20 minutes by tram 302. The bathroom is very large but old‑fashioned, and the location is good but busy with traffic and pedestrians. We slept with the windows closed and the air‑conditioning worked perfectly.

The location and parking were good. The reception was the only downside.

The proximity to public transport and the city of Buer was a plus. The hotel was boring, with few guests (at least that’s my impression). The coffee machine at breakfast was a disaster.
