Chambres d'Hôtes Montjouan

The owner’s welcoming attitude, the spotless rooms, the superb bedding, and the excellent breakfast all combined to create a stunning setting. Nothing was lacking.

“Lovely rural renovated farm house.”

We adored staying in the Morvan countryside; the refurbished stone building kept its historic charm while offering modern comforts, and the room’s view was delightful. Patricia added tea, coffee, and a fully equipped kitchen downstairs, though there’s no nearby shop so bring your own groceries if you plan to cook. The shaded yard provides plenty of seating and beautiful vistas. Breakfast from Patricia was outstanding, and she supplied plenty of tourist maps and walking suggestions.

“Geweldig fijne B&B, super host!”

The hosts were sweet and friendly, always ready for a chat. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean, and the evening meals delicious. Breakfast was given a lot of attention, with plenty of options and a lovely bowl of quark (or yogurt) with fresh fruit. Drinks were available for purchase from the fridge in the large kitchen downstairs, which overlooks a field of cows and a forest. We really enjoyed it!
