Hotel in the middle of nature, facing the volcano and the mountain. House and decorations are original, owners very welcoming, very good breakfasts.

The spot is gorgeous, with a view of the nature and the Canopee, and the living room décor opens onto the outdoors. The hotel is close to the rice paddies you can walk to, and from there it’s easy to catch a taxi back up the hill. Breakfast was delicious. The owner is a character. We had a great stay. We had booked the individual joglo house, but it had several forest animals: an ant nest in the curtains, bee nests in the bathroom, and a gecko that made an impossible noise. The owner gave us a room in the main house that had none of those nuisances and refunded the difference.
