The spot was spot‑on for our visit, and I liked how the hotel was laid out, though it definitely needs a refresh. The pool and its surrounding area were pleasant, and we stayed in a room with a king‑size bed that was comfortable. However, the room and bathroom were dirty, the walls and baseboards required cleaning, and the 1950s pink tile and bathroom curtains were in need of an update.

The woman at the front desk was friendly. The room, though, had a strong mix of urine, body odor, and another unpleasant smell. The microwave wouldn’t reopen after I heated my coffee, there was no vending machine for snacks or drinks, and parking was charged at a hotel that didn’t justify it. My father mentioned a sign saying we’d have to pay an extra $20 to use the pool. The room was very outdated, the A/C failed, the carpet felt sticky, the sheets were stained, the pillows were flat and tiny, and nothing seemed repaired. The elevator’s tile floor was full of cracks, the bathroom looked like it was from the early 1990s, the baseboard heating cover was broken with exposed wires. Because the room was so filthy, we skipped breakfast and ate elsewhere. I will never stay there again.

Everything was clean, the staff were extremely nice, and all amenities were free except parking. The Wi‑Fi wasn’t very strong.
