Sad that I was only staying for a day, could have stuck around for a month. Beautiful location, good ethos, very peaceful

The garden is very soothing, with animals, a lounge and a kitchen provided for guests. The only downside is that the bedroom has no door, so a little noise can be heard.

A very pretty hostel. They serve tasty coffee, the staff are very friendly, there’s a temazcal, and the location is lovely and quiet. I would definitely come back again.

A really nice place. The people are very friendly, have an interesting lifestyle, but aren’t overbearing, and you’re welcome to be as social as you wish. It’s a clean, airy spot inside a beautiful forest compound. Walking to the center takes about 10‑15 minutes and is a pleasure. The kitchen facilities are great and there are spots to relax. A washer is available and the hot shower is nice. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone. The host is super communicative and helpful via WhatsApp. Getting to Malinalco from CDMX was easy: bus to Chalma, then a collectivo taxi to Malinalco. I did have a bit of trouble finding it at first, but you just keep walking downhill on the street past the church until the road turns east. At that point, you’ll notice a small wooden sign for the hostel. Just keep going straight downhill instead of turning east and you’ll reach the gate.

Very kind and respectful people. I always come back, especially for the temazcal.
