The place sits a bit off the beaten path, requiring a short walk over a gravel track, but that seclusion brings a serene atmosphere and a breathtaking view; the accommodation feels cozy and homely, stocked with all essentials and spotless; the grill was pre‑set, so after a quick grocery run we could fire it up right away—just bring your own meat and supplies beforehand; the bathroom and shower are a touch dated yet perfectly functional; unfortunately we couldn’t use the listed pool because it wasn’t clean enough and the water temperature was uninviting; overall we enjoyed a lovely stay and would recommend it as a peaceful stopover for anyone craving quiet.

The natural scenery and vistas were great, and the braai facilities were handy, but the house smelled like smoke and the low roof let in a lot of wind noise.

George was so friendly, the views were spectacular, and we felt very welcomed; the bed and linen were very comfortable and the place was clean. Nothing negative.
