El Granado Hostel, housed in a 15th‑century Nasri building, sits on a quiet street in Granada’s historic center, a five‑minute walk from the Cathedral and Albaycín. The hostel offers hardwood‑floored rooms, dormitories, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge with TV, and a courtyard terrace. Free Wi‑Fi, buffet breakfast, and nearby bars, restaurants, and shops enhance its charm.

The place, terrace, and kitchen were all good. The room is small and the common areas are on the fourth floor, reached by stairs.

I fell in love with this hostel. Just as time flows so gracefully in the Alhambra Palace—like water sliding over marble—I felt the same here. The tranquility of Granada seemed to seep into every corner. The old but spacious windows of the rooms made me feel part of the street outside, and fresh air was always nearby. I’m not sure how much someone looking for a more modern place would enjoy it, but I personally love that sense of “belonging somewhere” that nostalgia can bring, and I experienced that fully. I came to understand why regular guests—and those who return from abroad—feel such a strong attachment. I had wonderful conversations with a few of them, and in those chats the hostel itself always became part of the story. That’s why writing about the hostel’s facilities feels secondary. It’s rare for the relationship between time and place to affect someone so deeply, and that’s the side I wanted to highlight. Eventually, we had to part ways, but I believe life will bring me back to this place where time seems to pass slowly. I hope to be here again someday, and I know that returning will make me as happy as seeing a dear old friend after a long time apart. If I ever get the chance to return, I’ll definitely stay longer. Thank you for everything.

Es ist ein tolles Hostel! Gut um Leute kennen zu lernen - die Dachterassen und Küche laden dazu ein. Die Lage ist perfekt um die Stadt zu erkunden und das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit
