Breakfast was more than satisfactory, and the place sits just two minutes from Moncalvo’s center. The view is gorgeous, showing the town and a lovely sunset over the hills, and the management is very good—clean and welcoming. I recommend it, nothing to report.

The property is stunning, impeccably clean, and in a great spot to reach other Monferrato destinations and Moncalvo’s center. What struck us most was the hospitality and kindness of Giorgio and his family; we felt truly well taken care of.

Getting to the hotel is very convenient, located along the state road. If you keep the windows closed, the room is well sound‑proofed. The spacious, newly renovated bathroom comes with nice cotton towels and all essentials. The room features early 20th‑century furniture but a very comfortable mattress. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is varied, offering fresh croissants, yogurt, milk, coffee, cappuccino… and you can park your car inside the courtyard. The stairs to the rooms are old‑style, with very steep steps that aren’t ideal for people with mobility issues, though a chair lift is available on the second landing. Small aesthetic improvements would be nice—plain white/cream tablecloths would add an even better touch.
