“EXCELENT - Etalon pentru turismul in Toscana”
I’ve been touring Italy since 2009, driving my own car through every region, so I know a bit about this country and especially Tuscany. The location is amazing, perched on a hill surrounded by a perfectly maintained 5‑hectare estate. The main road leads onto a 250‑metre gravel path that’s very good and, importantly, doesn’t get dusty like other remote spots, even when you’re driving a convertible. The five rooms are in a perfectly renovated building in authentic Tuscan style; the ground floor houses a small restaurant where breakfast is served, and dinner can be booked in advance. The room is spacious, has efficient air‑conditioning, and comes with everything needed for a perfect stay. The pool is excellent—large, deep enough for swimming, clean, with a hot shower and toilets; the beach areas are on grass and have well‑placed shade around them. The view from the pool and the restaurant terrace is stunning, making you feel like you’re in an outdoor movie projection, with the hillside town of Civitella Val di Chiana in the background, which, when it darkens and lights up, transports you straight into the film. Breakfast and dinner are fabulous, a cascade of flavors and textures that delight the senses; it’s not just eating, it’s real fine dining. Everything is enveloped in deep quiet, exactly as it should be in such places. Kudos to the hosts, Lorella and Flo, who make this location perfect.
