“Great place, Nice it had a pool too. Parking was easy right outside the apartment.”

The location was easy to spot and convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the apartment felt spacious with two single beds and a double/queen. The pool was great. The shower water temperature was hard to get right, and the unit’s proximity to a busy road made it noisy to sleep, though it was the last unit before the road, so nothing could be done.

Cascade feels like a home away from home in Townsville. We travel over three hours to get medical care, shop, and enjoy entertainment, and the place is reliable, comfortable, friendly, and predictable—like an old pair of slippers. Nearby eateries are good, rooms are double size with big fridges, comfy beds, good linen, and towels, and it’s only 10 minutes to the city. We always return. The only downside is a bit of traffic noise from Bowen Rd early in the evening.
