The hostel sits right on the Camino Minerario trail, close to a bar and grocery stores. The staff are very friendly, and the coffee is good.

The location is right above the square, and the staff are extremely kind, always present and helpful; the building feels steeped in history as soon as you step through the door. The only drawbacks are that the room’s bathroom lacks a bidet and the shower head is fixed high up.

“Value hostel that needs to keep its style.”

I stayed in a centrally located room in Buggerru with easy parking. The staff suggested a local bistro that was busy and great. The address given was wrong, and the stylish design needs upkeep – the light in my bedroom didn’t work. Breakfast only offered pastries and coffee/tea.

“Gute Unterkunft mit sicher besser gelegen Zimmern als unseres”

We arranged a late check‑in, and the staff were friendly. The building was renovated in 2023. When the croissants ran out at breakfast, extra ones were brought in. The room felt new and clean, and the bathroom was clearly designed for wheelchair users. However, we had a corner room right next to the kitchen/office area and the street/terrace; a locked door from our room probably led into those spaces, making it a bit noisy in the morning. The entrance to the hostel with the reception closed forced us to walk past our two room windows through a neglected hallway lined with trash bags – a shame for an otherwise well‑maintained and beautiful hostel. A different solution should be found, and we would have liked mosquito protection on the windows.
