Vera is a wonderful host, very funny and open. We enjoyed the lake view at breakfast on the terrace. Because of a family illness we had to leave earlier than planned. We’ll definitely come back, probably next year.

Vera’s warm welcome and many attentions were very pleasant. The cottage is a bit further on foot from the city centre, but that’s understandable.

The room was very dark and a dog was always nearby. They should have kept their dog away from the room.

The view from the terrace overlooking Lake Iseo was really beautiful, and the owners were exceptionally kind. Walking up and down the hill into town without a vehicle was a bit tiring, so that’s something to keep in mind.

We spent a few truly pleasant days at Gelsomino, an environment that felt welcoming and well‑kept, but what made our stay special was the owner’s attentive and gentle hospitality. She greeted us with natural warmth that made us feel instantly at ease, as if we’d arrived at a longtime friend’s home. ❤️ Perhaps that’s the best part of traveling: finding a place that’s more than just a room to sleep in, but a spot that offers serenity, smiles, and wonderful feelings. We leave Iseo with a beautiful memory of landscapes, shared moments, and the sense of being genuine guests rather than just customers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the splendid welcome. We felt at home… and when that happens, it’s hard not to want to return. ❤️🌸
