Hotel Not Hotel Amsterdam, a unique concept hotel, is located 250 metres from Kinkerstraat's shops and restaurants. Designed by Collaboration-O, Arno Coenen, and IRIS, its spacious living room-like interior features an art-filled lobby. Thematic guest rooms, ranging from 5 to 23 square metres, come with private or shared bathrooms. Breakfast baskets are available for an extra fee. The hotel is close to Foodhallen, De Clerqstraat, and tram station Postjesweg.

The location is great and the hotel concept is truly unique! Being right next to public transport made moving around Amsterdam super easy. While we preferred walking into the city each morning to discover different local breakfast spots, the location made that very convenient. We’d definitely stay again. The concept is so distinctive that room layouts can feel unconventional depending on the type, but it didn’t spoil our stay—just something to keep in mind if you prefer standard layouts.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the location was practically in the city centre (just a two‑minute tram ride from the hostel stop), and the room was spotless! It was small, but for the price and location it was worth it 👍

The place sits in a good spot and the night staff were very friendly and helpful, accommodating and understanding. Unfortunately the room was infested with bedbugs and we had to leave at 2 am. The management took forever to respond to our refund request, which was stressful.

The location in De Baarsjes is fine. The room was cramped, had no daylight, minimal facilities and no walk‑space.
