The owner was lovely and the place is nice and well situated. But there was significant black mould on all the walls, which is quite concerning for guests’ health and I wouldn’t recommend staying more than one night there, or any night at all if you have asthma.

First, I’d like to say I’m writing this review after spending 15 days in Sri Lanka and staying at 10 different hotels. It’s a very comfortable, spotless hotel. The beach is less than a 5‑minute walk. All amenities are at your fingertips. The best restaurants and cafés are just a few minutes away. I had been waiting for my Sri Lanka trip to finish before coming here, but we had a great time. It has a nice garden, a nice balcony, and a modern room. Mosquito repellent was considered. There’s both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. In the morning, monkeys visited our balcony. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and sparkling clean people. If I ever come back, I’ll just go to Mirissa and stay here. I didn’t like anything.
