The new hotel isn’t exactly spotless, but you can tell they’re trying hard to make guests comfortable; the double doors at the entrance and bedroom do a good job blocking outside noise, and the location is good. The only downside was an unpleasant smell coming from the room—perhaps the carpet?

The location is excellent, with a 7‑11 right downstairs and a 24‑hour coffee counter at the front desk, and the staff were all very friendly; you can even store luggage at checkout. Bus and subway stations are nearby, and it’s a short walk to Nakasu, Tenjin underground mall, Hakata Canal City and Kushida Shrine, though the walk back from Nakasu passes a red‑light district so stay alert. Plenty of parking surrounds the building, and the first‑floor desk offers many items for rent. The room’s air‑conditioner only lets you set the fan speed, not the temperature, but in summer I cranked it to the highest cool setting and it worked fine.

Its spot is close to all the Fukuoka shopping areas, ideal for a shopping itinerary, and you can always drop off your belongings and rest. The bathroom exhaust fan is small, which can let odors linger, and a wall‑mounted TV would free up more room inside.
