“Ospitalità curata!”
The environment was well maintained and the welcome kit in the room was complete. The stairs to reach the bedroom were steep.

After a three‑day stay at a nearby hotel, I moved into FH55 Med Guesthouse and wish I had started there. The guest house is part of an old residential building and offers several small apartments with a shared kitchenette and cooking area, all included. The area is very quiet, just a few meters from the main hotel on the back side. Reception and the restaurant are in the main hotel (Grand Hotel Mediterraneo Firenze FH55). It’s an excellent place for couples or small families. The old town centre is a 20‑minute walk away. My apartment had a living area, toilet and kitchenette on the ground floor, and the main bedroom and cupboard were a few steps upstairs. Check‑in and check‑out were easy – just leave the keys in the red box on the property. The staff were hospitable and I highly recommend it. Nothing was lacking or below expectations.

Everything was very comfortable and close to the city centre along the riverbank. The only downside was that when we arrived at night we didn’t know we had to go to the hotel to check in.

🇮🇹 Florence — Finding Our Little Home Away From Home. We arrived too early for check‑in, but the friendly hotel staff let us drop off our luggage while we relaxed in the lounge bar. An espresso, an espresso macchiato, and something sweet were just what we needed! ☕🍰 Then we headed to Dino Antonino Caponnetto, where we spent time walking and sitting in the park while waiting for check‑in. Eventually we got our keys and headed to the guesthouse for the next five nights. And what a lovely little place it is! 💚 The hotel reception was friendly and a helpful gentleman showed us around. There’s a communal kitchen and our own small kitchen area with a kettle and oven. We had comfortable twin beds, a sitting area, and even a garden where we could sit outside. It felt like our own little home in Florence. 🏡 The room was cleaned every day: beds made, new towels supplied, and water, tea, sugar, coffee, and milk pods were available. Thank you to the staff—everything was in good condition and well kept. We walked to most of the main attractions, but a bus can be taken a short distance from the guesthouse. Quiet place.
