“Bastante infrahumano”

The idea of having a bathroom in the room and the suspiciously low price, plus a Lidl just 10 minutes away, sounded good. But getting in was a hassle – the codes were a pain. They never told us where our room was; we had to ask and the reply was slow. The kitchen was really dirty, with no cutlery or pans. The room was filthy, even with used contact lenses on the table, the mattress was awful, and the heating failed for both days. I wrote about 15 messages asking for help, and Booking didn’t assist at all. There was a window, but it faced a dumpster and a pile of bags on the other side – very unpleasant.

“Terribilmente sporco, lercio”

Nothing positive. Overall, it was the worst experience I’ve had with Booking. I booked last minute and I know the property’s rating wasn’t high, but nothing prepared me for what I found upon arrival. The room was incredibly dirty, we found contact lenses left by someone else on the table, the sheets were soiled, and the shower seemed moldy; worst of all, the heating didn’t work. All of these issues were reported to Booking support, which offered no help.

The place was noisy with neighbors, the room was small, and there were no microwave or oven facilities.

“Rotten”

The coded entry to the front door and bedroom door gave us a sense of security. We were told there would be a tea & coffee maker, towels, WiFi, and toilet roll supplied, but none of those items were present. We received only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper for two people over three days, so we had to buy our own. There was a single hand towel, so we brought our own, and the WiFi didn’t work at all. The bedroom carpet had an orange stain that looked like vomit, the kitchen cupboards and fridge were disgusting with spoiled food inside, the kitchen was humid and smelled bad, and the shower was moldy.

Basic cleanliness standards were far below expectations. The bed was broken. When we contacted the landlords, they could not provide any assistance until the next day. We had to find alternative accommodation.
