I got free water and the staff were nice, but the place felt a bit far and the room was really small.

The spot was great, just a 6‑minute walk to Dotonbori and Namba Station, tucked into a narrow alley that still felt safe; a supermarket right across the street was a pleasant surprise. The lobby had a nice coffee machine, and the hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful. The room could have been cleaner, though it wasn't a big deal, and the hot water in the shower was sometimes lukewarm. Overall, the price was excellent for a small room, which is normal around here.
